Where is the Conference being held?

The Conference will be held at the EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel, Av. Eng. Duarte Pacheco 15, 1070-100 Lisboa, Portugal. Please see the floorplan and note that the Conference's main plenary sessions will take place in Morus II, Morus III and Morus IV.

How do I book accommodation?

Please note, you must be registered for the conference in order to book accommodation. You will be redirected to the hotel booking site once you have completed your registration. If you would like to reserve a room at a later date, the hotel booking link will be provided in your registration confirmation email. We have reserved a certain number of rooms at both the EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel and the Four Seasons. Find out more about the venue and accommodation here.

What is the Members code to register?

If you are a member of LBMA, LPPM or an LBMA Subscriber, please contact Conference@lbma.org.uk to obtain the Members code and complete your registration process.

COVID-19 Statement

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and want to reassure all of our members as well as the wider industry that we will be working hard to deliver a safe and successful live event in Lisbon. We will be adhering to all government guidelines and venue protocols active at the time. However, should the situation change, we will be fully prepared to deliver a high-quality virtual alternative. Any decision to move to a virtual event will be communicated to all delegates with sufficient notice.

What is the cancellation policy?

All cancellation requests must be made by Friday, 9 September 2022 and will be refunded in full less any administrative charges. We regret that cancellations cannot be accepted thereafter. Substitutions are acceptable at any time. In the unlikely event that the Conference will be held virtually, delegate registration fees will be partially refunded against the virtual ticket price. If the Conference were to be cancelled entirely, delegates would be refunded in full less any administrative charges.

When do the conference sessions start? And when do they finish?

The Conference sessions will start at 9:00 am on Monday, 17 October. Morning refreshments will be available from 8:00 am. The Conference concludes in the afternoon on Tuesday, 18 October. Please note that exact timings are subject to change as we finalise the programme.

There will also be a Welcome Reception on the Sunday, 16 October.

Who will be speaking at this year’s Conference?

LBMA’s Public Affairs Committee is currently working on the speaker programme and hopes to announce some compelling industry experts and leaders in the coming months.

What is the privacy policy for the Conference?

Please be advised the Conference will be recorded and photographed for the use of PR purposes and marketing materials. By attending the Conference, you may appear in film and images. You can view LBMA's privacy policy here.

Visa requirements

Visas may be required for travel to Portugal from some countries. Refer to your local Portuguese embassy for more information regarding Visa requirements. Please remember to allow time for the paperwork to be processed ahead of the Conference. Regrettably we cannot help directly with your application but we can provide a visa letter. Please indicate in the registration process whether or not you would like us to provide you with a letter. (Our letter will only cover the period of the Conference and allow for reasonable time to travel to and from Portugal).

What are the Conference registration fees?

The Launch Sale has a limited number of tickets at reduced prices available until Friday, 31 December 2021, with an additional discount for LBMA/LPPM Members and GDL Subscribers.
